SysNum Master 2 Fellowship 2020 - 2021

Le Cluster d’Excellence SysNum offre des bourses pour des étudiants talentueux qui présentent leur candidature pour la deuxième année de l’un de Masters ci-dessous :
- (MA) Mathématiques et Applications
- (MAS) Mathématiques appliquées, statistique
- (I) Informatique
- (ISC) Ingénierie des Systèmes Complexes (ISC)
- (M) Mécanique
Notons que chacun des masters ci-dessus comporte plusieurs parcours (voir la liste des parcours en annexe).
Ces bourses s’adressent prioritairement aux étudiants provenant des universités étrangères et exceptionnellement aux meilleurs étudiants issus d’universités françaises, hors campus bordelais.
Les candidats retenus seront incités d’effectuer leurs stages de recherche dans un des laboratoires partenaires du cluster: IMB, LaBRI, IMS, I2M, Inria BSO, CEA Cesta, INRAE-Nouvelle-Aquitaine-Bordeaux.
Le montant d’une bourse est de 6000 euros par an.
Les dossiers de candidatures, comportant le formulaire ci-joint, CV, lettre de motivation, copies de diplômes et bref descriptif de leurs contenus, relevé de notes de licence et du premier semestre de master 1 ainsi qu’une attestation de niveau en langue française pour les non-francophones[1], sont à envoyer au plus tard le 1er avril 2020 1er juin 2020 à emanuela.berni@u-bordeaux.fr
La lettre de motivation comportera notamment un projet de recherche incluant le choix du parcours de master (voir la liste ci-jointe des parcours éligibles) et éventuellement un projet de continuation par un travail de doctorat.
Pour les étudiants internationaux (hors Europe), l’obtention d’un visa nécessite l’inscription préalable à Campus France.

[1] L’attestation de niveau en langue française n’est pas obligatoire pour les étudiants postulants pour l’un des parcours avec enseignement en anglais. Ces parcours sont “Analysis, PDE, Probability”, “Image Processing and Computer Vision”, “Algorithms and models” et “Software verification”.

The SysNum Excellency Cluster offers fellowships for talented international students who apply for the second year of one of the Bordeaux Masters below:
- (MA) Mathematics and Applications
- (MAS) Applied Mathematics and Statistics
- (I) Informatics
- (ISC) Complexes Systems Engineering
- (M) Mechanics
Note that each of the masters above have several programs (see the list of programs in the appendix).
These fellowships are primarily intended for students from foreign universities and exceptionally for the best students from French universities, outside the Bordeaux campus.
The selected candidates will be encouraged to conduct their research internship in one of the laboratories which are partners of the cluster: IMB, LaBRI, IMS, I2M, Inria BSO, CEA Cesta, INRAE-Nouvelle-Aquitaine-Bordeaux.
The allowance is of 6000 euros per year.
The application files, including the attached form, CV, motivation letter, copies of diplomas and brief description of their contents, transcript of bachelor and first semester of the first year of master notes, as well as a certificate of language level French for non-French speakers[2], must be sent no later than April 1, 2020 June 1, 2020 to emanuela.berni@u-bordeaux.fr
The motivation letter should include the choice of the master program (see the appendix for the list of eligible programs) and brief description of the possible evolution of the candidates towards a PhD program.
For international students (coming from outside EU), obtaining the visa requires prior registration on Campus France.
European students should in parallel apply for admittance in the corresponding master via the apoflux platform, see https://apoflux.u-bordeaux.fr/etudiant/.
